About Ivy

Ivy graduated from The Bartlett School of Architecture, UCL, completing both her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Architecture, and later worked at Foster + Partners.
Her architectural training was driven not only by function and precision, but by an interest in space as an abstract, narrative, and artistic construct.

Over nine years in architecture, Ivy developed strong computational skills in procedural modelling, rendering, and animation. These technical foundations supported her ongoing research into material innovation, artificial landscapes, emerging technologies, and time-based storytelling.

Ivy J Studio was established with a shift in scale and focus: the human body became the site of design.
By translating architectural thinking into wearable form, the studio explores sculptural space at an intimate scale: designing and constructing around the body as both structure and context.

Launched as a creative odyssey into wearable art, Ivy J Studio fuses generative procedural modelling with innovative 3D printing techniques. Each piece balances technical precision with poetic expression, where structure, materiality, and movement coexist. Rather than static objects, these works exist within a continuum of time, each carrying its own narrative, like a character emerging from a speculative, evolving ecosystem.
